archKIDecture is designed and maintained by me, Julie Cowan. I am a Chicago-area artist, designer, and teacher who sees architecture as a means of environmental empowerment for kids. Once they start to see and consider the built environment that surrounds them, kids learn that they have the power to build, preserve and make change. It is very exciting and great fun too.
