Hey, have you ever seen a bridge like this? It is not like a drawbridge that hinges on one side and is pulled up with chains, It is not like the bridges that span the Chicago River, which pivot on each side and open in the center…it is a truly rolling bridge. And it makes such a great shape when it is rolled up, like a roly poly bug. I wonder if that provided the inspiration for the designer?
