Origami Architecture Book

Fold On! Look at that Paper Building!

Origami Architecture
Paper artist, Yee, has a new book titled, “Origami Architecture” and guess what? You can make your own paper buildings.

These paper models are intricate and astounding, and the author was kind enough to give a CD with the book so that you can download the patterns yourself and build your own paper city.
Try the Leaning Tower of Pisa if you want to start easier and then progress to Westminster Palace in London for a greater challenge. You do have to be old enough to use a paper cutting knife, like an Exacto, and make sure you are careful.

Yee, was born in Hong Kong and his family did not have much money for toys, so he cut up and folded old newspapers to entertain himself. After many years of practice, he has obviously gained great skill at the art of Origami. We can try our hand at origami buildings by using his patterns. Maybe we can get to be really great at it too.
